My Signature Process

How it works and what to expect.

Initial Consultation & Onboarding

Every collaboration begins with a conversation. To ensure we’re a perfect match, a complimentary 30-minute chat is the first step of my process. Once you submit the contact form, you’ll gain immediate access to my calendar to book a Google Meet call.

During our call, we’ll explore your website goals, and discuss your project needs. This will help determine how we can best work together. Next, to officially secure your project date, a signed contract and 35% non-refundable deposit are required. To set you up for success, you’ll receive an Onboarding Kit featuring a curated collection of resources, questionnaires, and a copywriting guide for your website content.

01 | SOW

Pre-Design Preparation & Homework

This step is crucial to ensuring we can kick off the build and design phase. Your homework will consist of compiling your pictures, logos, and any necessary files and uploading them to the client portal. The forms in the Onboarding Kit must be completed as well.

I will do a deep-dive review of your submitted materials to ensure it’s sufficient to move to the next step. The more detail you share during this phase, the more intentional and aligned your final website will be.

02 | GROW

The 2-Week Design Period

Kicking off the design and build period with a Monday morning Onboarding Call. Using your provided materials and notes from our calls, I will build out the first draft of your new website.

We’ll work through rounds of feedback until the final product meets your vision and goals.

03 | HARVEST

Website Launch Day - Time to Celebrate :)

I’ll handle the final adjustments, make sure your mobile and desktop designs look perfect, and double-check that all the tech is running smoothly.

Before we go live, we’ll jump on an Offboarding and Training Call. I will walk you through your new Squarespace site and show you how to make future edits so you feel confident!

Once the remaining balance is received, it’s time to hit “Publish” and show off your brand new website!

  • Greenhaus specifically will give away exactly who I am.

    The Green - Obviously, I’m a huge plant lover (who would love to have her own greenhouse one day).

    The Haus - I was born and raised in Germany. And since “House” translated into German is “Haus”, I wanted to combine it into my unique branding.

    (I do also speak German fluently!)

  • Squarespace is a super user-friendly all-in-one platform (offering domains, hosting, email campaigns, scheduling, online store, analytics, blog, etc.).

    It has the flexibility, mobile responsiveness, and ease of editing without the headache. Making it perfect for those with any level of website content editing. You don’t need to know how to code to modify the design, and they offer 24/7 customer support when something doesn’t go quite right.

    And as someone who has worked with WordPress before, Squarespace is so much more easier to navigate and understand.

  • To secure your spot in my design calendar, you will pay the initial 35% (non-refundable) deposit of your package price before the project begins. The final 65% will be paid before the launch of the website.

    Feel free to reach out to discuss other options, like payment plans.

  • To benefit from my custom web design packages the following is required:

    • Squarespace Plan (pricing info here)

    • Custom domain and/or email hosting (When choosing an annual Squarespace website plan, you can register your first domain through Squarespace free for its first year)

    • Any copywriting/branding/photography needed for the site

    • Desktop and web licenses for fonts (if applicable)

    • Stock image licenses (if applicable)

    • 3rd party app subscriptions (if applicable)

    • Any legal documents (like a Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions)

  • While I don’t offer copywriting services, I can help polish your existing content.

    I can also refer you to some great copywriters, if interested!

  • Brand design is something we currently do not offer. We ask you to have your branding done prior to working with us.

    If needed, we can refer you to brand designers!

  • Once you decide you are ready to take your online presence to the next level, here’s how to get started:

    1. Fill out the Project Overview Questionnaire and schedule a complimentary 30-minute consultation call.

    2. If we’re a good fit, I’ll send you a detailed questionnaire to fill out, along with a proposal, contract, and welcome package. The initial 35% (non-refundable) deposit of your package price will be required to secure your spot in my design calendar.

    3. Prepare your content prior to our scheduled design period. You will send me all of your photos, logos, content and copywriting. The more you can share beforehand, the smoother the process will go.

    4. Based on the provided materials and our onboarding call, I will create an initial draft. I will implement your feedback and will work on the rest of the website until it meets your vision.

    5. Final adjustments will be made. Once the remaining balance has been paid, I will transfer ownership over to you. And your website is ready to launch!

  • I only have a limited amount of available spots each month. Once you are certain you'd like to work together, I suggest you reach out to me ASAP to ensure a spot in my design calendar!
